Do you ever just sit and wonder about where your person is? Maybe you have questions about when you’ll meet them, how you’ll meet them, how far away they are…
How will you find them? It’s a big world full of billions of people. Your person could be someone you already know, it could be the barista at your coffee shop, it could be a random stranger you passed on the street without a second thought. And it could be years before you meet them.
If you’ve ever had these thoughts, I’m right there with you! So with you that I wrote a song about it :)
“Posters” is about the complicated feelings of waiting and restlessness combined with feeling dejected and helpless about finding your person. The songs says “I can’t look for you, I don’t know how. Can’t hang posters all over town that say missing, lost, call this number if you wanna be found.”
I hope you find listening to this song as gut-wrenchingly cathartic as I felt writing it. And as always, I would love to know your thoughts about the song!
